Managing Change in the Library

The artifact was created with the goal of demonstrate the principles of human resources management and how to apply these to library staff in support of organizational changes as needed.  I applied the Wessels (2007) theory that using strategic project management to select, lead and assist with multiple competing projects provides the best opportunity to remain active economically, and to create the maximum value for the library.  I created a change management proposal to update the library, including increasing the sustainability of the library through desired or required adjustments.  Producing this artifact was a great benefit to me.  I learned to analyze how libraries manage transitions, and how change management can be key to a successful and effective library.
